Which Is Better?

For dragoon using Drakesbane which would be better? ares pants or heca. I'm working on getting both but dk which is definitively better the attack+20 or the +6str and 2% double attack you would get from ares.

I don't really know the math. But with the the 8 Dex on Heca I would lean towards those (to help reach that magic number of 118 I think it was).

Also, this is the highest comment on the Hecatomb Subligar Page:

yea that was the one that i was leaning towards just seeing what other people think.

117 DEX is only a magic number if you're at birds. Most mobs have a higher AGI than Greater Colibri, meaning DRGs likely won't get a high dDEX and thus the 2 DEX isn't really doing anything for you except providing accuracy.

Which is better depends on the rest of your build, your buffs, and what you're fighting.
