When you can come back and explain to me exactly how Level Sync prevents players from learning their jobs, I'll listen. As it stands it's made my time in ffxi a hell of a lot easier because I can party with friends or lsmates of any level whenever I wish, not to mention actually get a party in a reasonable amount of time. I'm not the best player but damned if I'm gonna blame that on Level Sync. Anybody who got "dumbed down" by Level Sync was an idiot already. PEBKAC
People not paying attention to my /seacom grinds my gears. Chain 6 as a DRG/BLU with nothing but FOV Refresh, however, makes my day ^^ Still think I coulda made 7 if there had been another mob nearby >.>

JA: Invincible (lvl 1)
Holy Circle (lvl 5)
Shield Bash (lvl 15)
Sentinel (lvl 30)
Cover (lvl 35)
Rampart (lvl 62)
PLD sword skill cap at 20(using someone who dings 75 in dunes): Sword skill 63
" Shield skill cap at 20: Shield skill cap is also 63 (both A+)
So a PLD who level sync in dunes will have his overall jobs skills extremely gimped (1)
a PLD in dunes will only have the experience of fighting mobs in the dunes
a PLD in the dunes will only have access to a few Job Abilities...so he won't learn how to
properly use the others (lack of experience)
Also since the PLD doesn't need access to other areas since he level sync in dunes onry he wont get:
Kazham airship pass
Access to ToAU
I can keep going really...
edit: oh yeah he won't need to buy all the other spells after lvl 20
