You probably have an out of date gearswap. Update windower.

Windower doesn;t have the function to stop updates!

I'm having an issue with Blacklist addon, it's not filtering colours to blacklisted people.

Hard function: Doesn't stop tells at all.

I figured out the issue, It's on BG Forums. You have to replace a few files here is the link.

And this won't change, because we don't know how to fix it.

In the meantime you can download DLLs manually from http://update.windower.net/plugins/, but you'll have to add the plugin name you want in there. So, for example, if you want Timers, enter http://update.windower.net/plugins/Timers.dll and it'll download the file. Then just place it in Windower/plugins/ and you'll have it. Launcher should recognize that it's there and give you the option to enable it without trying to download it.

...which might also explain why the launcher can't download the current version of those plugins for you.

Someone just reported that they could fix the very same error by disabling their anti-virus software.

Sounds like your resources are screwed up. Can you check if replacing Windower/res/action_messages.lua with this file helps?

Config is auto-setting frame rate to 60 FPS. I changed the settings file, but I feel like this is a bad default setting. It causes a lot of animation slowdown in many areas, more so if a lot of things are going on, and I don't feel comfortable playing at the 60 FPS. It looks nice when it runs well, but in the majority of scenarios, it's not staying at 60 FPS for me, and thus causes more harm than good.

I have a good computer (with shadows off), so I can only imagine if someone with a weaker computer wants to change their draw distance, decides to get the Config plugin, and can't figure out why their game is running so snaily.

Defaulting setting the proper aspect ratio was a great idea, but I feel this is a bit imposing.

You still didn't provide us with an addon that's crashing you. Unfortunately the crash dump you gave us was not very informative, so we don't have much to go on. If you want to help us debug this you should try to narrow it down to a specific addon.

I've done with a couple of friend some research, I've got one friend who doesn't have any problem and another who have my same problem.

We have found that the only 3 Addons we have both active (the players who crash) and the other player doesn't have are: Dynamishelper,Shortcuts and Findall

The crash dump you provided definitely did indicate an addon, so that's... surprising. Does this issue sound like what you're experiencing?

Can you provide a crash dump with no addons loaded?

Of those 3 add-ons, I only have find-all loaded and I also crash upon zoning.
