Taking them out with ranged weapons or soul arrows is easiest.

yea, once you are within melee range though, they are like 4-5 hits to kill and arent much of a threat

this knight and mage are douches....

I figured it out....i find it highly disturbing how funny i think it is that they just fall to their doom....

But yea...theres another knight in the woods...where is he? I'd like 8000 souls instead of 6000 a run... :|

Both knights die permanently.

Im level like 43 cause im super farming stats >_>; I find immense pleasure in how these NPCs are falling off my shield to their deaths.

There is the possibility that I could Darkmoon invade you at ceaseless and let you kill me for souls. You'll just need to get a little sin. Josi can explain it.

I built up 80000ish souls...die trying to get enhanted ember...die again...FFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK.

I once spent a morning farming 200,000 souls off the Gaping Dragon (because I wanted to get humanity as well) and rats (for more humanity) in order to do the Blighttown upgrades to my pyromancy flame. While on the way down I realized I hadn't grabbed the iron ring from the asylum yet so I figured I'd go grab that and the doll rq. Got both with out incident then after riding the bird back to the shrine I promptly managed to walk off the ledge and kill myself.

I figured Ok whatever it's just a couple of the dumb zombies between me and the blood stain. Get past the first 2 no problem, because really who would die to those, and walk out the door and do a strong attack to thrust the first of the torch wielders running at me... I went too soon.

In barrels the torch wielder, using that attack where they just keep running and swinging like 8 times at you, followed promptly by my death cry.

I died to the axe dude that gives 1000 souls past the artorias gate...and then i went to clear my way back to the bloodstain...and the mage guy didnt suicide...so i promptly swung to knock him off and instead swung off the cliff. :| used a soul of sif and a moon butterfly soul + the kills to get that :|

actually, it was the tall mushroom things three shotted me while trying to get the enchanted ember...that whole thing at the top was when i was soul farming...i've done that like 3 times -.-;

You should save those boss souls for weapons

I thought about it... :(
