and if there had been no Syrian war, then Assad would be in power for another 40 years.

Gotta love assumptions. Looks like everyone makes them huh.

Its a safe assumption based on how long leaders in the Middle East and Northern Africa stay in power. Assad is older than I thought so maybe only 20 years. Doesn't change the fact that Aman lied.

I'm not here to babysit Aman. I just found this question interesting.

A good question would be will Assad outlast a Trump Presidency?

I don't believe my act is to get up here and attack either side regularly like it matters.
Except for you do..
Then use this as a veil..

Mindsets, thought processes, and heartless or bad ideas are my nemesis. Not the same old "*** LIBERALS" and things that regularly goes on.
Because if you truly were against those things you would be picking apart at the left learners on this forum just as much as the right. Which you don't.. At all..

I do? Fine then in comparison to you, Rav, KN, Amand, etc I don't.

I only pick apart what I disagree with. I am left leaning, but your attempts to discredit Vic and others by basically farting into your keyboard aren't anything I can stand beside.

Your turbulent nature is showing.

I did legitimately grin, chuckle, and perhaps even smiled at you doing the personality test twice and making your wife do it. I was amused and glad to see you overjoyed at some internet psychology.

I have to agree, it is fun to see you "throw down" outside of P&R. Seeing you yapping about gardening and/or engaging in Floppy's test is refreshing.

When Nausi talks about his brews, it's a reminder that we should probably separate people from P&R BS.

Obviously, we all have one thing in common. FFXI.

I can't tell if your trying to be nice or poke fun. You say the words but the meaning of them coming from you is hard to nail down.

Sure taking a 5 minute test that could maybe tell you something about yourself is interesting but in the long run it doesn't really mean much and should be taken with a grain of salt.

I had my wife take it because we actually had a personality conversation the other day. It's funny cause a lot of her answers were the exact opposite of mine, yet we think almost exactly the same.

I'll talk about anything that interests me. I just don't do anime.. Which a lot of people around here do, so I mostly just stick to P&R. That and I don't play 11 anymore and I think SE is evil. I'm getting my Character back after about 3yrs though so they are probably gonna suck me back in.

The older I get the way people think interests me more and more. Especially when they think the way I do about most everything else but for some reason want to vote Democrat.
I don't understand it, probably never will.

Not sure who thinks they way you do.

It certainly isn't Flav, Pleeb, Vic, I, Zahrah, Chanti, etc etc.

Nope but you guys use the exact same arguments people I know do. Like it is kinda scary at times how similar they are. I know most of those names don't live in Michigan..

The problem everyone has around here is, we get stuck attacking the poster and the argument gets lost in the process.

Which is bound to happen since we all don't really know each other. Just each others opinions and viewpoints. Not much is needed to start the poo flinging, which doesn't exists when talking to someone in person that you've known for a long time.

I've said it before. The banter back and forth from this site has made my conversations with other people a lot more interesting since I am more informed on how they are going to respond.

You assume I am entrenched.

I have just never seen a decent argument from the left. A middle ground does exists and Conservatives are actually leading the way to it, if the left would take the time to see they are being taking advantage of and leave their entrenchments, maybe, we could get rid of this horrible two party systems that EVERYONE agrees sucks!

It is happening now. Sadly though Trump hijacked it.

Ross Perot?!?!?

Honestly I feel like your "the other side has never convinced me" gag is a sign of unbeknownst entrenchment.

That's the problem. How are you going to convince me that taking away my hard earned money trough taxes and distributing it to people that honestly have never worked a day in their like is a good thing?

How are you going to convince me that policies and the status quo of the past 50 years are good for our country when it obviously does not work?

Penalizing people for not buying a product is pure insanity and the Democrats would love nothing more than extend it to other things!

Then they complain because congress does nothing and the President needs more power to get things done!

That is not the way a Constitutional Republic works!

Now you sound like a Conservative!

Sheep do yes. Sadly the main thing that was holding any semblance of order is now and has been vilified by the left.

The government is failing to properly provide and allocate for everyone (which is their job).
No, it's not. You have the Internet. Please, use it.

Asura.Floppyseconds said: »
How can I better provide for the people of my country? So that everyone has a better and more equal footing to reach the American dream than they do now?
Start a business and treat your employees fairly.
Be sucessful and donate your extra time and money to
Community service and Charity. (Tax deductions exist for a reason)
Otherwise stay out of my pocket.

What is wrong with this country that separates, divides, and disenfranchises others that I can address?"
Why not look for what is right with this country and go from there? After we figure out how to fix our lagging economy, loss of commerce and businesses, fix our Illegal Immigration problem and find a way to at the very least stop adding to our debt entirely!

The American Dream is worthless if no America exists.

I took the test. Normally I agree with the outcomes of such quizzes, but that one was so far off base that it completely baffled me.

How can you not see that not everyone can be successful?
Nope, not everyone can be successful. Our Massive Government is making it harder for people to even have a chance at being successful.

Asura.Floppyseconds said: »
Community service and charity is not an answer for a social safety net like Social Security or disability.
Show me a post where I have said anything negative about social security or disability.

However!
It would be better for everyone if the government stopped taking money for soc. sec. and let them invest it.

As for disability, working people are covered through their job. If you are not covered through your job either get covered by a private company or hope you don't get hurt.

Again.

If it was as simple as staring your own business then everyone would be a business owner.
It is not even close to simple to start your own business as it was 15 years ago, let alone 20 or 30! Thanks Big Government!

and be all for Social Security and other socialist government programs.

See. I never said anything like that. Why do you do that? What you quoted has nothing to do with soc.sec or government programs.

And yes, Government does have a role. AN extremely smaller role than it has now.

Care to elaborate on how the government makes it impossible to be successful?
Pull up google and check out the Rules and Regulations that have been passed the past 20 years.

Have Fun!
