You can, however, transfer unaugmented Skirmish gear between same-account characters. Assuming your mule has Adoulin access, you could use Lebondopt Wings to get NQ gear to send back to your main.
Or, alternatively, you could send unaugmented NQ gear or +1 weapons from your main to your mule, have the mule get Pulchridopt Wings to exchange for a Vial of Transmelange KI, and then use the KI to upgrade the weapon/armor and send it back to your main.
The important thing to remember is that once you put an augment on the piece, you can no longer transfer it between characters.
