Technically the world only works the way you perceive it to work. There is no absolute.

I imagine *** kids today are just too young to even know, but there was a time not so long ago that you went out of your way to work for and frequent the businesses of Family. It's been true of virtually every minority, anyhow (though I do love listening to the feuding in the East Asian community about who is and isn't serving real Chinese food). That kind of community protection is not something that happens when you feel safe.
Of course, that's why I stopped willingly eating at Red Lobster and Olive Garden and Chik-Fil-A, but apparently I'm a terrible person for judging someone on the basis of their words and deeds.

There's citation of several non-survey studies and court opinions acknowledging LGBT discrimination in the first two links, which you would have known if you had bothered to at least skim through. PEW studies are almost always surveys. Anything else or are those goalposts getting to heavy to move around anymore?

Pleebo, you're better than trying to convince KingOfNobody to acknowledge his bias.

PEW studies are almost always surveys. Anything else or are those goalposts getting to heavy to move around anymore? Their findings and opinions to both reports were based off of surveys.
Both surveys also use very broad definitions of discrimination. In some cases, not being promoted based by work performance was a form of discrimination.
But if you bothered to read your own sources, you would have seen that little tidbit, would you?
Future note: It doesn't help you to use two reports from the same authors and consider them different reports with different research methods. It makes you look idiotic.

I'm still stuck on the construct of the thread's headline.. gay eggs. When two hens go at it, they both lay unfertilized eggs.
Which is basically what the eggs are in the gay egg hunt, unfertilized eggs. In fact, if you ever ate any eggs, you ate gay eggs!

mindblown.jpg Not really. They're menstruation. Human women drop an unfertilized egg every 4 weeks regardless of scissoring or not.

I think the real question here is what's the difference between a straight egg and a gay egg? It can't be color, since that's race, not sexual oriental.

Color of chicken eggs is related more to diet than breed, anyhow. They're specifically fed to get the white shells people want. I'm fairly sure we do the same thing to cow's milk. It should be a fair bit more ivory than white.
And, yes, I'm responding seriously to a facetious proposal. I do that.

It still doesn't define what it means to be a gay egg. That's color.

Simpler question, how do eggs have sex? They have no genitals.

Simpler question, how do eggs have sex? They have no genitals. They're gametes, which means they're not even really alive and occupy roughly the same living space as viruses. They taste marginally better, though.
So basically they don't have sex. But if you use an alternate definition of sex, since all ova are comprised of their mother's genetic contribution, all ova are nominally female. Thus, if there was any sex to be had, it would necessarily be lesbian in nature.
But there isn't. Because they're not alive.

To be fair he did backpedal a lot on his stance during his second term, seemingly to pander to the LGBT demographic, but to say he's done nothing at all isn't quite fair no?
As a related topic to ENDA, even, the full repeal of the Clinton-era "don't-ask-don't-tell" discrimination in the US armed forces--and subsequent full integration of LGB (I am not sure if T is accepted) service personnel--is a significant accomplishment that occurred during his term. Prior to that, people were losing their jobs simply because of being outed (in an official capacity) by those who would want to ruin their military careers.
Obama did the smartest thing he could of done, asked his military advisers for advice, then heeded it. They collected data, analyzed that data, worked out feasibility and determined any impacts that would happen. They then created an implementation plan and he approved it. Then the plan was executed, to great success.
DADT was actually a policy designed to protect homosexual service members while serving in the military. Previous to that it was illegal to be a homosexual service member, it's also illegal to lie to an officer. Thus if an officer, commissioned or non, asked a service member their sexuality, they would have to truthfully answer. If that answer was "homosexual", then they would be chaptered out. If they lied and said they were straight, but later found out to be homosexual, they could be charged with false statements and various other articles, then chaptered out. That's a very bad position for a service member to be in. DADT enforced an executive policy that prohibited officers, commissioned or non, from asking a service member their sexuality.
Also this statement is false and one of those myths that gets passed around.
Quote: Prior to that, people were losing their jobs simply because of being outed (in an official capacity) by those who would want to ruin their military careers.
In order to be discharged for homosexuality you had to first be investigated for it by an appointed investigating officer. The only way for that to happen is through SAM. SAM means the only evidence that is accepted as being homosexual is through Statements, Acts or Marriage. Statements require you to state, in writing, that you are homosexual to a commissioned officer and that statement must be witnessed. You can tell everyone everywhere that you are homosexual, it doesn't count until you sit down and sign a piece of paper stating such. Acts require you to be caught in the commission or admit to the commission of an homosexual act. Basically your commander has to walk in on you butt f*cking your lover with witness's. Heresay and unfounded statements by third party's aren't allowed. Finally Marriage is straight forward, you must of married someone of the same sex or attempted to parry someone of the same sex. The marriage document acts as the evidence here.
The vast majority of people chaptered as being homosexual were done so after voluntarily making a sworn statement of such. They sat down in a chair and signed a piece of paper saying they were homosexual, then someone else witnessed that signature and presented it to the commander who then presents it, along with chapter paperwork, to the JAG for legal review. Nobody forced them out, they chose that path.
The US Military doesn't care about sexuality. We knew who the gay and bi people were, as long as they did their job and didn't demand special treatment we didn't care. I've been to barracks parties where we had girls up on the table stripped each other and putting on quite a show. We knew the gay dude down the hall that always had other guys coming and going from his barracks room. We would see them going out and witness what they did at the clubs. There wasn't much "hiding" going on. They just didn't bring it into the office nor the field, which is all we really care about. So as long as they didn't want the same kind of things that hetero couples did (get married, live together, public displays of affection, give benefits to a spouse, etc.), it was all ok, and it never bothered anyone?
It really, really should have.

I honestly don't find that human skin tastes like much of anything, much less something "fantastic." And certainly not pus-dripping sores mixed with blood plasma.
White House Egg Roll Features 10 LGBT Families
Quote: The annual White House Easter Egg Roll is an almost all-day event where children get to participate in games on the White House lawn. Family Equality Council has been bringing LGBT families to participate in the fun since 2006. President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama often engage in the games, as the president did last year with this young girl.
“We’re extremely excited to welcome 10 diverse LGBTQ families from nine states to take part in this American tradition,” said Executive Director Gabriel Blau. “Our visibility at such an iconic American event helps create a world where every family is celebrated and respected.”
“This year, 40 people will join its contingent, including gay dads, lesbian moms and the families they’ve created through foster care, private adoption, surrogacy and donors,” says a FEC press release. “According to the White House, “30,000 people will assemble on the South Lawn to join in the fun. The event will feature live music, sports courts, cooking stations, storytelling and, of course, Easter egg rolling.”
He's really evolving! He only had one gay couple last Easter egg hunt! Now he's got 10!
It baffles me why minorities and LGBT continue to swallow this shameless pandering via the Obama administration. He's done nothing for LGBT.
