I'm terribly sorry if this has already been covered. I couldn't find anything in my personal search.

So I have been getting A LOT of different feedback on this. Granted you are using a Ukon(of course); Which weapon skill is better to use? Ukko's or Upheaval?

ALSO, is there ANY situation when one could outdo the other?

Thanks in advance.

Upheaval with Mighty Strikes, Ukko otherwise.
On mobs with crit evasion or whatever it's called trait, Upheaval is generally better than Ukko aswell.
Morta and Bismarck beeing a few.
Not sure which mobs that have this trait confirmed

I thought Byrth had parses that said that Bismark didn't have an crit evasion trait, or a bad on at least.

I'm glad someone else agrees with this. I've talked with many an ukon wielder who totally disregarded even meriting it like it was nothing simply because they had ukko's fury, but after playing around with it it in voidwatch and nyzul i would get more damage output from upheaval during mighty strikes(using 19% crit dmg gear) vs using ukko's fury(using 19% crit dmg gear).

I parsed a 10% melee crit rate against Bismarck and a 1% melee crit rate against Morta (repeatably) on WAR. Neither of them are as bad as Mul, but I'd say that Morta has a higher crit rate penalty than Bismarck (we have a Monk with at 15% crit rate, Ragnarok DRK with 15%).

Bismarck < Morta < Paramount Naraka < Other Wave 2~3 Mul monsters

For some reason we've found that Paramount Naraka has less crit rate evasion than the other mobs. It's not a ton less, but he's generally the only one we parse >1% crit rate on consistently.

I've only really parsed MS Upheavals on PW, but it's usually 4k+ avg, so I'd say it's pretty solid! :3

I've only used MS upheaval once, really. And it was on ADL. It's a really bad parse comparison, though, cause it's 2 Upheavals with like 4-5 Ukko's Furies. <_< But Upheaval beat ukko's on all of it even though I accidentally used Ukko's once with MS up.

Ukko's Fury is my vote, when Mighty Strike time comes, strap on the Ragnarok and then put up some real numbers

ITT: Ukko's fury or Upheaval, almost everyone knows MS Reso from Rag is superior.

I grepped through my logs for upheavals and cherry-picked some of them. I'm not sure if any of these are impressive but it's a sampling of what Upheaval can do at least. My Upheaval set assumes MS and capped acc/att, the latter of which was not always satisfied.

Could it be a side effect of Banish, or is it just an agi-deficient mob?
