As of recently, Resolution has caught my eye for my Warrior (Yes, I do have DRK96 nearing 99 as well.)
My curiosity rises as to what is the best weaponskill set for this on Warrior. I don't see many WAR's using this, but sadly I don't see many WAR's anymore.

Will post my Set Later.

Your main problem is, WAR doesn't get a lot of good GS to pick from (Aside from Rag I guess). As to not seeing many WARs around, some may have gone out of their way to bandwagon the TanakaBalanceSAM. For the rest, you may want to step out of your MH more often.

As for the sets, WAR and DRK can share several armors, excluding mostly Ace's mail. The rest should be pretty much identical to an ideal Reso build for DRK

With Jingang Greatsword having the ability to 5-hit, this seems like the second best GS out there for WAR next to Ragnarok.
While your GA war is still probably going to win out in damage, a mighty strikes resolution zerg is hard to beat.

And yes, the set Chrono posted is the ideal set. TP Bonus on the moonshade.

I don't see this set being too far off in damage from the one posted above.

Heafoc should outdo Avant +1 hands if no ACC issues.

How would Hecatomb +1 augmented with crit hit dmg +4 and acc 6 stack up against both of these options?

I think Avant legs will win over relic and Mekira-Oto+1 should definitely beat emp head. With the fTP on resolution, vulcans pearl wouldn't stand up next moonshade. I'm very interested in the relic hands though. Would these win compared to avant and heafoc?
Another big concern with using these sets in VW would be accuracy. Us without ragnarok may need to stick with avant hands and emp head to keep accuracy up.
Thoughts?

All I remember is someone working it out and finding that although close, Avant +1 did win, but that the top 3-4 options (relic +2 being one) were super close.

Ya the 15atk from avant will always be there. The extra 1% DA will win if/when it procs but in the long run will lose on dmg.

But if you already have the +2s you may as well use them and save the money!

Here is my current build.

Ragnarok is 90. Hoping to have 95 by this weekend to see what this set really puts out.

I am still adjusting this. Need to pick up Grim +1 body and Avant +1 hands.

Feet have Str+2 augment. I'm leveling synergy now to do my own augments and try for +4.

I was in Abyssea - Uleguerand today on my Warrior and to my suprise, my Resolution's were competing heavily with my Raging Rush's... Here are some Numbers:

Resolution:
High: 5964 (Dhorme Khimera)
Average: 3010
Low: 1639 (Dhorme Khimera)

Raging Rush:
High: 5209 (Dhorme Khimera)
Average: 2822
Low: 984 (Blinded, I believe) 1450 (Unblinded, I believe)

The really surprising factor in all of this was my choice of weapons. Please don't judge but for my Great Sword I was using a Ferrara. You know that low damage, low delay one.
Ferrara: 74 DMG, 387 Delay, 4 Accuracy
My Great Axe was one of the most common ones, Widowmaker.
Widowmaker: 124 DMG, 504 Delay, 5 STR, 5 VIT, Enhanced Double Attack Damage.

I used Great Sword most of the time but my Great Axe's DoT did win over my Great Sword's.
Here's my sets:
WAR-Raging Rush

WAR-Resolution

Do not judge me please, I know my gear can be improved greatly.
Also please remember this is in Abyssea. Atma's used were: Razed Ruins, Apocalpyse, Voracious Violet...

I seriously hope Ferrara isnt the best you could come up with, certainly there are better AH GS out there. lol x:

Also its kinda a NoShit a 124 Base Damage GA is shitting all over a 74 Base Damage GS.

Not trying to be rude but yea.

It really shouldnt, not even seeing how thats possible.

Even if Resolution numbers were keeping up with Raging Rush that low of base damage wouldnt be keeping up with Widowmaker at all in terms of overall damage.

I'll openly admit I didnt read everything he posted though.

He basically only said his Resolutions were keeping up with his Raging Rushes, but that his G.axe DoT was still better.

Awful choice of G.sword though. If you're limited to AH, there are much better cheap options. <__<

That GS from abyssea Ule is fairly easy to get as well with a high drop rate if hes just screwing around in abyssea.
