When meat that was frozen is no longer frozen it has thawed. That means that thaw and unthaw mean the same thing. Working some more on these swords. Starts as Kusanagi and after finishing the questline it becomes Ameno. Have some stuff to work out still with the textures, not 100% happy with them, but still.
Yeah I know it's backwards and Ameno is supposed to become Kusa but *** that.

It's just a simple case of people misusing words again, and in this case, prefixes. Thaw means to remove frost/unfreeze. So unthaw should mean to freeze or add frost. People just use it wrong, that's all.
