If you want it to last a few years, I'd grab something like a 2 year old elitebook, parts are easy/cheap to find that way, and drive support is better.
Or there's the other company equivalent, but then again your budget is a little low, so getting the more expensive hardware isn't probably an option.
Considering the minimum specs are listed at pretty much hardware of 5-6 years ago, you should be able to find something, just grab something with a dedicated gpu, and then check the specs.
what are your opinions on lenovo? I have an old busted phone I could probably sell for a few hundred, my school refund should be around 400 or 500, and I should have a good 300 - 600 more if I really save (possibly more, I might have a few junk items I can pitch for a little bit of money.
