Sorry, I made assumptions from your inability to maths. 31 Attack and 9 STR doesn't lose to 1 haste.
EDIT: Except in extremely high haste situations. Well, you mentioned you'd be at capped acc. But yet you say you don't really get buffs or a bard. Where's all this Acc coming from? So.. use Askar Manopolas over Dusk Gloves? I'd rather not.

Gear and merits for GKT. Again, I don't do stuff that TP feed is an issue, so they're not particularly powerful monsters.
I'll use Pizza for Tomoe, but my Polearm build isn't the best, so I still need Ace's for some fights. Provided I'm on Samurai at all. Provided I'm on Samurai at all. 2-3 ACC is a 1-1.5% improvement. 4 STR and 3 ATT are an improvement too. At that point, they're probably even. I have Ace's, it looks cooler. If they're even, I'm going to use it. There's no reason not to when they're even.
So what are you fighting that with polearm merits and pizza, you're still not capping acc? I'm curious. 4 str 3 attack are not going to ammount to much when you're looking at 30-40% DoT and 60-70% ws frequency.
Turban is better Why do all your dream sets include *** helm? If your dream sets don't have capped acc, then they are pretty shitty dream sets :|

i have aces helm but its mainly town gear for the obvious reasons. i still rock it sometimes as it has sentimental value to me as it used to be the king.

I've also never said I WASN'T going to make the upgrades like you all assumed. But the most cost effective ones are first. I'm not dropping 1.8 mil into a zerg weapon or 3 mil into slightly better body armor when I've got other gear flaws. |
