180tp On One Meditate?

180tp on one meditate?
I know Wiki said if you use both Myochin Kabuto and the Saotome Kote you can get a tp gain of 140%~180%. now i had both items for like 2 years now and i NEVER gotten a 180% on one meditate, most of the time i get 160% or 140%. am i doing something wrong or is it another one of those wiki f ups?

Depends on your meditate timing, if you get lucky you can get extra TP. Most you can get from sub is 72 even if it says 60.

And he was talking about main with relic and af Enhanced meditate has a chance of giving 40 extra TP instead of 20 on each enhancement (gloves and helm), the determination is sheer luck.
I've gotten 180 a lot on 75 sam, with both items, it more or less is luck

Yeah, I never get 180 TP entire my SAM career...most of the time is 160 TP...I even try to do with timing Meditate on my free time (meaning I just stand there for hour just to do Meditate) and never get 180 TP LMAO
It was my understanding that the myochin kabuto gives 20-40% and that saotome gloves only ever gave 20%...
I have never, ever, seen anyone get 180% and until I see definitive proof I'll remain skeptical about its chances. It's happened to me once in a blue moon on my SAM awhile back. I think it's just pure luck. It's a fairly low chance to get 40 from one piece, let alone being lucky enough to have it proc twice.
Gloves and Helm can both proc. I've had it happen once. But usually only one will get the bonus proc leaving me at 160.
i use my sam a lot and before a fight i always meditate up, been playing for a loooong time and i have never gotten a 180 tp not kidding around, >_> i always wonder if its my xbox lol. its either something is wrong or just i am so unlucky that i haven't gotten a 180% on my 1st meditate for 3 years i been a sam >_>. havent check if i get 180 while fighting cause i never sat there and focus on if i got 1 extra 20 to ir not.

And he was talking about main with relic and af I've done a few 72 meditates as /SAM but it was VERY VERY rare. I've also done a few 120s as SAM main, but again its very very rare. If you lower your HP and have auto regen, or the spell on, and you time the meditate right before a tick goes off (using the HP+ from regen) you can get an extra tick without any + gear on. Its really hard to do though @_@. I've never gotten 180 with both though X:...

The only reason I saw my one was because i fired the first one and not thinking i had my kabuto in my satchel so i got up to 120, i fired teh 2nd later with both pieces and ended at 300. other than the 1 time i typically get 140-160 usual

I actually recieved 180 TP on a meditate yesterday, it was the first time it happened and the max before for me was 160. I think what happened was I clicked the staging point door and that somehow glitched me giving me the extra 20.
My friend says he's gotten 180 like twice in the several years he's had both items. I take his word for it... I hate Dynamis too much to go back just to get that piece. >.>

(Using right before the next tick gives you an extra one) I've seen 180 TP meditate. Once or twice maybe.
140-160 is by far the norm though. 100TP (normal mediate) + an extra tick = 120TP
extra tick (AF Head) + extra tick (rare chance from AF Head) = 140TP extra tick (Relic Gloves) + extra tick (rare chance from Relic Gloves) = 180TP its possible just rare.

Did some testing in tavnazia on this and I did not get any 180% TP meditates. I got 140% and 160% with helm+hands. I also got 160% often enough to say that the chance of getting 180% without glitching is equal to zero.(Sample 120-150)

It's not a glitch, you just use it before the next tick.

i get 160 normally but 180 isnt all that rare its just about luck wether both proc or not thats all.

Not to mention that unless you're specifically testing for TP gain, dropping TP before each meditate, you can only ever see a 180TP med on the first try from a standing start. i used to get 180 all the time tho it was ussally the first med out of 2 to get to 300 before a big mob... aka wasted but yea it was never that uncommon i got 180 more then i got 140...
