This is another post for drk BGwiki source material. I couldn't find definitive testing that explained if the job point Weaponskill damage bonus gift for DRK applied to all hits or if it was like gear and only the first hit. I also didn't see anything on whether Endark II stacked with WS or not. So I went DRK/WAR and killed flamingo in sky using a lvl 1 Bronze Zaghnal and trusts+Last resort to attack cap. TLDR: WSDB JPgift applies only to the first hit of a WS and Endark II does not stack with WS.

First thing I did was make sure I was fSTR and attack capped.
Calculated melee range = (14+9)*4.5*1~1.05 = 103-108
Actual melee range = 103-108 (verified with about 100 swings)

Then I did a bunch of guillotine tracking the #of hits with 0 job points. 2k+ Attack / 266 STR / 184 MND & no pdl+ or WSDB+ equipment.
Calculated range = (14+9+171)*4.5*0.875*1~1.05+(14+9+171)*4.5*3*1~1.05 = 3,424-3,593
Actual Range of 17 WS (4 hit)= 3,427 to 3,526
Actual Average = 3,467

Then I went out and got my first 500 job points on DRK… terrible experience after coming back to the game.

Then I did a bunch of guillotine again with the same exact gear.
New Range of 18WS (4 hit) = 3,456-3,551
New Avg = 3,497

If the WSDB applied to all hits we should see roughly a 4% increase but if it only applied to the first then we would see a 0.90% increase since the first swing is 0.875 ftp and not 1 ftp [(0.875*1.04+3)/(3.875)].
Actual increase was 3,497/3,467 = 0.86%

I compared the 5 hit data from doubleattack procs I got and it followed the same trend.

Then I casted Endark II and did a Guillotine, then casted fresh and repeated. My Dark magic skill wasn't capped so my first proc for endark II was 93dmg so I would expect my guillotines to be 93+92+91+90 = 366 dmg higher on avg.

Unfortunately my guillotine dmg barely changed at all.
New Avg with Endark II = 3,502

Ya so at the time DRG weaponskill damage didn't exist yet so there wasn't really a reason to specify that DRK ws dmg only applied to the first hit, that was just how weaponskill damage worked.

Enspells generally don't directly add damage to ws's.

Still nice testing, always appreciate when people go and check things and report back.

Update to this because I also was curious if this bonus is additive or multiplicative with gear. I saw Velkur from Asura's posts that DRG job trait and relic/mythic boosts are multiplicative with each other and multiplicative with gear but I coulnd't find anything on how 1st hit only WSD gear combines with Gyudon and DRK JP since they are also first hit only. I chose Shockwave for this test because the mods are 30% STR/MND and they were confirmed in this post: https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/threads/42588.

Here are the inputs:
Gsword pDIF = 3.75 + 128/256(DRK pdl+ trait) = 4.25
Wpn base = 55
fSTR capped = floor(55/9 + 8) = 14
STR = 310
MND = 203
fTP = 1
52% WSD gear and 6% from DRK JP

I took a look at melee swing first to make sure the basic values for pDIF etc were sound.
min = floor((55+14)*4.25) = 293
max = floor(floor((55+14)*4.25)*1.05) = 307
After around 20 swings my range was exactly that 293-307 (~5% diff) so I know att/fSTR was capped and pDIF/pDL+ were accounted for correctly.

Now lets calc Shockwave with WSD from JP additively stacking : 52%+6% = 1.58 multiplier
min = floor(floor(floor((55+14+153)*1)*4.25)*1.58) = 1,489
max = floor(floor(floor(floor((55+14+153)*1)*4.25)*1.05)*1.58) = 1,564

Now lets calc Shockwave with WSD from JP multiplicatively stacking : 52%x6% = ~1.6112 multiplier
min = floor(floor(floor((55+14+153)*1)*4.25)*1.52*1.06) = 1,519
max = floor(floor(floor(floor((55+14+153)*1)*4.25)*1.05)*1.52*1.06) = 1,595

Conclusion: After 42 WS my range was 1,491-1,563 so additive stacking.

Now lets calc Shockwave with the 58% + 6% from gyudon+1 stacking additively : 58%+6% = 1.64 multiplier
min = floor(floor(floor((55+14+153)*1)*4.25)*1.64) = 1,546
max = floor(floor(floor(floor((55+14+153)*1)*4.25)*1.05)*1.64) = 1,623

Now lets calc Shockwave with the 58% + 6% from gyudon+1 stacking multiplicatively : 58%x8% = ~1.6748 multiplier
min = floor(floor(floor((55+14+153)*1)*4.25)*1.58*1.06) = 1,579
max = floor(floor(floor(floor((55+14+153)*1)*4.25)*1.05)*1.58*1.06) = 1,658

Conclusion after 20 WS my range was 1,548-1,623 so additive stacking again.

I thought this was interesting and want to share since many different forms of WSD% that affect all hits are multiplicative and this isn't.
