My buddy, Chefjeezy, originally from Fenrir, Odin, and eventually Asura, passed away last year. He had either a heart attack or stroke (he was a big guy, and I think he had some undiagnosed health issues).
It took me a long time to write this down. He is definitely missed, by me, his friends, and his family. He had a wife and kids, he had siblings.
Even after he stopped playing FFXI, we played other games like smash ultimate, and smite. Before he passed, he was looking to get access to his FFXI account again. SE was having him jump through flaming hoops to get his account back.
He had to get a signed notary proving he was the original owner of the account, he told me. And then the next day, he passed away while in bed at night.
He was a Chef. He had a Mythic THF, and yagrush WHM (though that fact he didn't like advertise, because he didn't want to get locked into white mage for all of eternity, he wanted to be able to play his other jobs). We helped each other build the relic bow and guns.
He was a true bro. Me, him, and Lolipopchainsaw were the "Trifecta," as he called it, because together, the three of us could do any content in the game at the time.
Rest in Peace, Jeezy.
