Anyone else having trouble with logging in? Tried it on 2 laptops and a pc but i keep getting the error 1160. Is this the result of welkom back to vanadiel? Been like this for 2 days now.
Also my internet has no trouble on other stuff, it only does this with trying to get logged into ffXI.

found the weird problem. Seems switching from 5G to 4G solved the issue.
thought it was the problem but seems i got a Lucky login. Until i zoned to selbina and dc'ed again with the same problem. This is getting pretty annoying.
Bro I'm in the same boat for last 2 days, getting same error codes 0011 and 1160. Nothing has changed here for me. Resetting router didn't help. Looked into port forwarding but I couldn't figure it out, although I've done it before with a previous router. I'm in the Netherlands with a US account.
My friend from Netherlands had to use vpn to login. He was locked from using ffxiv and xi somehow.
same here lol. This problem started yesterday. Servers cant handle the amount of 'returning players. Why do a return to vanadiel while servers cant handle this stress :/ If its like this the entire campaign im gonna ask for a refund lol. No way they gonna do that but if enough peeps do it maybe we get some feedback on it.
I have the same problem (location EU/The Netherlands).
After some searching, it looks like that some ISP's have trouble connecting to several asian hubs (don't ask me for the techincal specifics, I dont understand it either).. The solution that worked for me is to use a VPN (free or otherwise)... It worked for me.. But its ridiculous what kinda hoops we have to go through to even play the game lol Good luck.. lol weird think happened, prob just Lucky: i filled in a complaint and 30m later i can log in without any problem. Must be coincidence but im to afraid to log out and try again :)
I have a 3001 error atm, Black screen with downloading data with nothing happening and after a while time out error 3001. Dont know if related.
I'm from France and i had the same issue since yesterday. I hade to use a VPN to log in.
Tried just now without a VPN and i was able to log in, either i'm lucky or SE fixed it. Same here. I think it is fixed..
There has been a dns issue in northern Europe which has now been fixed apparently. This was the reason you didnt have a stable connection between you and SE it would time out going through the effected node. Any time out will cause you to DC in game.

its been happening all over the world dont worry about it ! it temporary SE is hauling some SERVER maintenance ! nothing special soon you will able to login again !

So whatever SE did to fix the Node and time-out issue is not working anymore i think. In US half dced half not. Keeps dcing me back and forth. Oh well nap time
Just happened to me twice. I came here and glad to see it's not just me.
I was afk for an hour to come back to being disconnected as well. Servers prolly had a small hiccup. I am in a severe supercell watch, whatever the *** that is, with a tornado warning in effect, so my dc could have been due to that lol.
Yup, keep getting 2059. I was stable for about 30 minutes, guys just dc'd again.

I just got this error today, but all I did was click "retry" and it logged me in slightly slower than normal.
Booted me out after about 20 mins. Then I logged back in, and the game hard crashed to desktop. Now im out again,,, 4001 on char logged, 1160 on char that tried to log
Cant stay logged in for more then 20min here, so is something going on.
the *** site is going nuts to so s.e hit the wrong button or something
