we'll try Woc ,blm+sch setup : and searching to lock his 1hour with my linkshell,
but i have some difficulties to understand how Proc (even with this help https://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Talk:Warder_of_Courage)

do you have any tips and/or good strategy for this guy ?

zerg can be really fast but this is too random for us

For BLMs you kinda just pray that it doesn't Benediction.

SCH COR BLMS RUN WHM, all standard stuff. Just death till you kill it or fail.

The way to lock 2 hours was never/will never fully be understood. It's cast elemental magic immediately after use, but the tier of the spell/the chance of the lock is unknown. also if any specific element mattered or not.

Confirmation bais but element of day was always our goto, and t3 is insta cast basically but only ever succeeded in locking a handful of times and gave up for the most part.

Ejin Caitsith posted a vid a bit back using mage strategy, hit him/Voidstorm up for possible tips, and maybe watch this vid to see what you can glimmer from it. Also watched a JP vid a bit back using that strategy, but its a long and arduous fight.

If you can pull it off, obviously. Is smn even better? also obvious.

we don't have a lot of good smn unfortunately^^

The BLM strat is bursting death. Unless you have BLMs specifically set up to do that along with multiple idris geos, it's very much so not worth it. BLM strat will be even more random than melee for you. We always had been told that nuking low tier nukes based on the day is what proc'd him, but very quickly didn't even bother.

Tips for melee burn:
- Keep your numbers in check. Clear it multiple times if you have to to get everyone through. HP scaling is a *** when you're getting started.

- Don't overcap accuracy, we quickly found out we didn't even need high accuracy sets once we got a Marsyas / Idris in the shell.

- Ask geared support for assistance if you don't have any. See a random Idris or mythic bard? They very well may help, people don't like standing around all the time, it's fun to just help get things done as long as the people you're helping are grateful and respectful when asking.

- Make sure your WHM is capping his bar spell potency, and if he's not, get an extra bard to sing lightning carols for you. Preventing stun is required to melee this.

- Kill wynavs, they can be AoE'd down easily without even switching. The boss will eventually 1-shot your tank if there's a few wynavs out when he Meikyo Shisui (Wynavs all use breath at the same time, it hurts and can't really be reduced other than normal -DT)

- If you get a late bene, ride it out man. You can usually still kill it, it just takes a while.

- If you throw away a pop or two, don't sweat. We wasted like 10 pops before we killed it and got it on farm status.

This is just a bit of hearsay in my linkshell, but light-based weaponskills always seemed to proc him. Torcleaver, CDC, etc

We just handle that by tossing a Divine Seal Cure 6 Stoneskin on the tank since we just have a THF solo DD it. Killing wynavs is preferable if you happen to pop him on Darksday, though. *** Sleepga/Dispel spam. We just don't pop him on that day.

if your entire linkshell farms with you - fine. if your the sad sucker who has to farm it solo it better be a safe run on the first attempt.

but for soul voice and charm how can you handle this ? (with only one charm buffer and maybe a rdm silence)

can he make it's next 1hr if we kill the wynavs ?

Call Wyvern → Familiar → Astral Flow
if we can avoid his next 1hr, this can be great ;)

If you're meleeing it should die well before it has a chance to charm, and even worst case the full minute charm buffer should be more than enough.

If it's alive for minutes instead of seconds, you already lost.

SV is easily handled, you only need one charm buffer. The mob is limited to a fixed 1hr rotation, he just starts in random places.

Was probably daNpwr doing it on twitch then. I think that Ejin 5 boxed one was done recently (without the outside buffs that is unlike in the video).

another question : which bubbles must be used for this nm ?
we can have 2 or 3 geo (2 geo idris)

Focus/Languor Int/Malaise I assume if doing MB method

Torpor/ Frailty if doing Melee
