I dunno about you all... but that ***doesnt happen to me. Ever. Actually, I cant recall anyone on my server ever complaining about something like this... except Bards. That ***happens to Bards all the time, I'm sure.
But I play on (what seems like) a predominately JP server, and they dont invite NA's anyway.
You know, setting yourself /anon is a surefire way to get invites from smart people. "Durrrr, y he set anon D:" Or, "He's /anon because he does not want invites while on a high priority job, i.e, PLD, BRD, or RDM...Two of which we need something fierce..."
As the in game population continues to decline on each server, people will continue to get more and more desperate to fill their vacancies.
I haven't really been experiencing any issues on Unicorn with people inviting while I'm not flagged or with a /seacom that states that I'm not lfg, but I have had a huge increase in people wanting to grill me in /tell about the party I am in:
"Are you getting good exp in that party?
How long are you staying?
Will the party continue after you leave?
Can you tell the leader that I am your rep when you leave?"
It's not just your server, it happens on Seraph a lot too. I've gotten 3 invites while flagged up for Einherjar on DRG of all jobs XD And before DL one day nearly every BRD COR and mage in my dyna ls got party invites while reforming pts. Like how dumb can you be to think someone is lfp for exp in DYNAMIS-XARCABARD? -_-
I dont know what the problem is if you get a blind tell or invite just ignore them!!..Along with the other billion or so tells from fake GM..And people selling gils..
Just change to BLM or something, then you don't have to worry about ever getting invites.
LOL@ Kaht
Or BLU for that matter!!
I don’t really get bothered to much while not LFP on RDM with /seacom but as another poster said, there are a tone of people wanting to know who, what, when, where, how before joining.
I usually just move on to the next person LFP.
