Artifact Upgrading Problems(user Error>_>).. Solved

So.. I feel dumb, I was looking myself blind on the Macrame part. I had a Sif's locket in inv so was avoiding using that and didnt see I had bought a Siren's Macrame, not Sif's..
So problem solved..




I cant get Monisette to accept the needed items for upgrading Brioso Slipper's to +1.
I have triple checked everything, zoned, job changed, vanilla, day change.
I have upgraded armor b4 so it's not a mission issue.
Item's used are Raxa, Sif's Macrame, 8x Rem10's & Brioso's.

I've tried google and found many with this problem years ago but no fix from what i've found.

what armour did you upgrade before?
empy you can do almost right off the bat but relic and AF have different mission reqs

I've done AF to +1/2/3s. So It cant be an issue with any prereqs.

Everytime this question is asked it is generally user error.
Are you 100% sure about everything you're trading? Ie, is it Sif's Macrame or Sif's Lock. Since it isn't working, when you do the trade is Monisette only taking your chapters for storage or doing nothing at all?

95% of the time I have seen this error, it was User Error. Not saying that is the case, but I've been guilty of it.

Talk to Monisette to confirm you do not have any items you still need to take from her. Talk to Sagheera for good measure and "talk about artifact restoration". I know you said you've done it before, but this game is so buggy, I don't leave anything to chance anymore.

Trade the chapters to Monisette

Talk to her again and Take them back from her

Make sure you have exactly the number of chapters for your trade (not 10 chapter 8s; common mistake)

Confirm your materials are exactly what she is asking for. "Sif's Macrame" and "Sif's Lock" can easily be confused.

Make sure you're trading her "Brioso Slippers" and not "Bihu Slippers". They look almost exactly the same and it's an easy miss.

She'a is taking my chapters for storage, I dont have any AF/Relic/Empy upgrading atm either. I just got the 109 Slipper's from her.

I traded Sif's Macrame & Brioso's Slipper, dont have Bihu's so cant make that mistake.
Ive talked many times to both npc's checked what items she asks for in the menu traded all 4 slots as in Raxa, Sif's Macrame, Rem10 x8 & Slippers,
all in diffrent order in the trade menu etc, which should'nt be an issue.
Im stumped.
Only thing I can try I guess is doing another 109 or 119 armor piece.

I have done AF Feet+1 before and ive done ArkTT II as well.
And I did those upgrades long before I did a AA II's fights.
And I dont think they are a prereg.

Ark Angel Battles are completely unrelated to the Artifact Reforge Process. They just happen to drop the materials needed as well as the chapters for the Artifact restoration.

Which piece of artifact reforge armor have you already completed (to 119, not 109), that you can confirm?

Stupid question - do you already have the piece completed and currently in storage via moogle slip?

Problem solved. Changed title and 1st post. It was user error >.>..

I have Pld +1 Body +2, Smn Body+3 Feet+2 Sch+1's on all blm+1, all Artifact.
@ Eslim: It might be that actually, been thinking along those thoughts myself. I have all Lv52-60 on npc, but didnt wanna -5inv so I erased memory and requested feet. But then why did it let me 109 it.
