Why do job applications want three references who are NOT past supervisors or employers? Wouldn't past employers be the best references because they know my work ethic, work attitude, work capabilities, receptiveness to supervision or correction...?
I've also got two little incisions healing where they were going to do it laparascopically but they pulled out once they found out I needed to be opened up :(
Spent a whole 4 days in the hospital before they released me, been home since.

Also good morning ^^ how's it going?
If I am not mistaken, past employers are not allowed to give negative references. Pretty much all they can say is "Yeah, she worked here"

Thanks, it's been pretty good so far, haven't really had to take much of the pain meds and other then the occasional pain it's not really too bad, the really annoying part is since it's healing it's REALLY tight down there so I really have a hard time stretching or it HURTS bad lol.
I figure in a couple weeks it'll be good enough so I can get around a bit better.

:o oh my, I didn't know they weren't allowed to give negative ones. Dang lol.
lol ;; One of my old jobs was to clean apartments and re-do the floors. It sounds so bad to say I "stripped and waxed floors," so I say I "stripped old wax off floors and applied new wax to floors" but then that sounds redundant. There's just no way to make this sound good, lol. xD

This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
