You're @ 28% Haste.
Also, that looks like overkill on stp but im too lazy to check the math.

Usu body + Fumas, change to /WAR (only after the previous swap), Justice Torque, TP in Strigoi as appropriate.

Are we talking about improvements that retain your current weapon or no?

I was aware of this. From what FFXI Calculator says, using a Swift Belt would put me at 24.5ish Haste, and I don't have a V belt, so that would be the next best thing for capping my haste.
I was considering using Anguinus Belt in place of the Bullwhip though, what do you think?

Yea, using that weapon for a 5 hit.

I think you're nuts for considering any of what you just listed. The only item that even potentially replaces Bullwhip is Goading if the STP is critical, and I outlined a better method above that also works when /NIN. Anguinus would leave you at 21% haste, which is undesirable.

Unkai Nodawa for TP and WS in Hachi pants. Might be able to rearrange your STP to get Thew back in your TP set but I'm leery of leaning too heavily on the bonus from the legs and too tired to work it out properly.

How much storeTP, assuming capped merits, do you need on gear to hit a 5hit with a 464 delay weapon?

Extra STP gives freedom in the WS set. The amounts used are correct for a 5-hit.

In my set I have 34 added STP, That's enough for a 5 hit (It gives a 20.6 TP return, WS gives a 18.5 TP return, assuming you WS in the AF3+2 pants(100.9 TP gain from WS+4 hits))

4.6 x 6 hits = 27.6

Quotes are borked, but going from a 6 hit to 5 hit is about a 20-25% increase in damage.
No, its a 20% increase to WS frequency, have to take into account lower over all WS dmg, so it would be around a 15$ in dmg i believe

Amanos generally shouldn't be /DRG.

What you really want is something like

With variations for Carbonara or Atma of the Voracious Violet as appropriate.

What you really want is a 5hit Masamune, but that's a whole separate discussion.

Also why i mentioned over all DPS improvement pre swing, also zerk phase and such, just curious comparing the two, I've seen the old /DRG vs. /WAR, /DRG stomped it, but that was able to reach the current lvl of haste
