Note: This would have to be /drg to be effective as I'm sure you all knew.

why not? only other option is ace's but i doubt /drg and with that kind of gear u will need the extra acc at all. He still gets 4 str with that hat along with 4 more dex which would put (a hume at least) at around 106 dex i think, higher if a mithra.

I'd honestly rather just sport the turban, sub warrior and sport brutal + bushino. But do whatever works for ya~

/drg all the way for GK~

/DRG is epic win for GKT, especially on high def mobs (so TP damage drops off).

Ace's would be better if you need the acc, but when acc is capped Askar is best. Other than that, sweet set, I believe he eats Carbonra for a 5hit, which is another big increase in WS freq.

This is obviously a very nub sam, he seems to be tping in askar over a wyvern helm, and the hachiman domaru has far more weapon skill accuracy, which is a basic need for all sams. And how he is able to land Enpis with a v.belt over a life belt is beyond me. This is a lost cause imho.

I can get to DEX+47 with capped haste w/o even trying to gear up DEX.

The OAT GK does lot more melee damage than Hagun, extra crits are always welcome.


I use turban when I sub warrior, when I sub warrior I use polearm, when I use polearm I dont use bushi.

And I don't have bushi.

It's an ok set, but if you have Usukane body, Black Tathlum, and Dusk gloves +1, shouldn't you have an Ace's helm?

I never really looked into the OAT Great Katana because I already have one, it's called the Soboro Sukehiro. That being said, I'm not trying to bash the Kurodachi, I'm just saying that I've never really looked into it, and I'm not sure how it compares to the Hagun exactly.

I didn't know Aces helm dropped into your inventory as a bonus when you obtain those three !!! Learn something new everyday.

Obviously this leader of our science division has, through extensive testing, concluded that one roughly 20% chance of an extra hit is by far > over 20 extra base damage. His position as a well respected investigator is clearly determined by his squinted eyes on his avatar, obviously displaying superiority.

This game lacks individuality, you see a gear set that is different from your own and that makes it the wrong set to use.

point of wearing wally when your already capped on haste? and just because the standard sub for 90% of sams is /war doesnt make it the only choice.

In a game based on perfection, there is no room for individuality.

Feel free to have armour that makes you an individual, but be prepared to be slated for it. Town is the place to be an individual, not on the battlefield.

I do take it that seriously lol. It really irks me when I see a mnk wearing full mnk relic because it looks spiffy.

If you're capped haste, why would you gimp yourself with having less stats? Seems like you care to much about what people would think, lol.

Not saying Askar is great, but if it's giving you better stats for your setup than w/e else you have. You wear it.

Anyways, Oblit, it's interesting to see how the GKTs pan out. I guess I'll have to invest into the Kurodachi sometime soon. I wasn't trying to bash your GKT or build at all, just giving my view.
