Returning Played

Been awhile since I played thought I would come back and have a go with the return home campaign going on. First thing I noticed on my return is the amount of Blue Mages. About 10% of the server are on blue mage. Is there a reason for this, Is blue mage better for the newer content.
Anything else I should know about changes and such or things I need to do.

The main things to know are Trusts and Records of Eminence.

Trusts are available at Level 5. There's an NPC in each starter city who gives you a quest to unlock it. Doing so allows you to summon a party of NPC companions. This makes basically all storyline content and other stuff up to end game solo-able.

Recoords of Eminence, there's NPCs near each starter city gate. Talk to them. It opens up a quest log in your menu that's great at keeping your progress organised and rewards you with tons of stuff.

Otherwise, yeah, i have read that BLU is popular at endgame. I don't know a lot about it though so someone else would have to speak more on that.
