I logged out last night... I turn on the PC today.... EVERYTHING from windower is gone?

All the profiles, all the add-ons all the plug-ins are off? deleted? vanished?

The files are still there, obviously, as always I'm confused. I change nothing, yet ***is always being changed for me.

What the mother *** man.

My settings notepad got completely erased, how the *** is that possible.

I NEVER *** with the windower file. ***is CONSTANTLY being adjusted for me, failing to function etc. And it's NEVER me doing it.

I honestly don't underfuckingstand. It's beyond irritating.

Some mentioned POLUtils Sandboxing doing something similar to them. That's already more than I can think of. Windower itself doesn't even have the capability to do a reset like that. Sorry if this sounds stupid, but are you sure this is the same Windower directory? Like, do you maybe have one for the dev build and one for the live build, and you ended up in the wrong one?

I have never in my entire time using any of the windower versions had anything change on me that wasn't expected such as plug in updates.

But I'd definitely recommend backing up your entire FFXI user directory and the windower folder to online storage. I'd lose my ***if I lost that much data.

...but all seriousness, don't allow yourself to be on the computer when you're drunk. I did that one time and I tried to download wikipedia in it's entirety.

This happened to me too. I even tried redownloading everything, but it would just vanish again every time. Turned out to be an issue with Norton SONAR quarantine--it randomly decided to blacklist windower without notifying me. Check your antivirus. :o

I get it for free, so I can't really complain. It does what it's supposed to at least.
