Talking about pumpkin spice everything and how it can go to hell.

Not the world's fault that you don't like delicious pumpkin, chump.
Pumpkin pie and bread are good. Everything else is hit or miss.
In the last week I've made pumpkin curry (a modified butter chicken recipe), pumpkin fried rice, pumpkin massaman curry, pumpkin seeds with soy sauce chipoltle ginger, and pumpkin gingerbread made from the the "guts".

I still have 3kg~ of pumpkin left in my freezer...

Next will be some type of pumpkin and bacon stew.

Z: how is the pregnancy going? Getting close to the end :) I hope you stayed cool over the last few months!

Savory pumpkin isn't my type of pumpkin. For instance, this morning I had some Hostess pumpkin spice donettes, and they were TO DIE FOR. I love pumpkin season.

so I have an ipod touch. when I got it, it had nice features. and every single update ever since keeps removing stuff, so it feels like it just got very basic now.
and switching between stuff just feels like a hastle.
no more quick select, no more now playing, among other minor helpful stuff.

No, I dont want to talk to you cortana when trying to view the current song, goway.

You've been calling her the wrong name, no wonder she's taking things away, women hate that.

It's apple. They call it ease of use and sell it as a feature using words like "sleek".

We're talking about suburbs and rural towns, too? Goosh! Frankfurt and Koln have a huge pocket of Islamic communities, not that that's bad.

I remember my aunts and uncles were complaining about the poor funding for custodial care of the local school where the parents had to set aside a few weekends to do maintenance here and there. This was in the mid 2000's. One of my uncles was seriously tinkering with the thought of transferring to a US branch of Siemens in 2007/8ish. :/

That's going to be a helluva lot of stress on an already densely populated country. Stick them in...Uhhh...Bayern?
Yes we have around 12200 communities/villages/cities as far as I know, so 30 families (by equal distribution Mosin suggest) are a low end estimation.

The short term stress for the next 3 years will be very tough indeed and your aunts and uncles had every right to complain about poor funding before the crisis even hit us.
If the hot-spot plan doesn't attract the yet-to-come refugees to stay there, I don't know how we will be able to continue on. Hamburg and Bremen changed law and started to confiscate private-owned, unused trade buildings temporary to house the refugees there.

No. Isn't really a story to tell, just tired of working on something I don't really buy into. I can forgive a lot of sins on a project if I believe in it, and I just don't believe in this.

So, all of the little irritations have started to add up, and it's probably time to go, because it's affecting my motivation to do anything.

Happy rainy Friday afternoon, denizens.

Took the day off, sitting in a coffee shop, drinking yesterday's discussed pour-overs, writing and listening to some contemporary string pieces.

How's things?

I own no Apple products and it's an independently owned-operated coffee shop.

I'm like, the anti-hipster hipster.

*** your labels. I ain't part of your system. I'm buying a bottle of whiskey after this. Good ol' Jack Daniels or Jim Beam.

None of that "special limited edition small batch with goat piss for character" whiskey.

To quote the sage Denis Leary:
Quote:
... you can't even order a shot of whiskey anymore without some special little story being attached to it. You want a boiler... that's a tough word or two. "Gimme a shot of whiskey." "Oh, that's not just whiskey." "Okay, what is it?" "That's 182-year-old oak barrel family recipe sipping whiskey." "Oh really? Watch this. CLANG! Gimme another one, alright? Then gimme another, and I'm gonna sip the whole *** bottle, ***, alright? And get two bowls of pretzels out here, too! ***!" Special family recipe... you know what, sip this. Sip this right here.

Anti-hipster-hipster? Isn't that like, exactly the definition of a hipster?

I picture Remy carrying a Victrola to a trendy coffee shop to listen to his records.

Seriously. I'm like, the worst kind of person. I really am.

I will take the things I like from any trend, make them my own, and then make fun of the things about that trend I don't like. Craft beer? Beards? Coffee shops and writing?

Gimme.

Scarves, skinny jeans, shitty bands that aren't popular for a reason? *** awful.
